That’s why five years ago, Focus on the Family® launched the Option Ultrasound™ Program--a groundbreaking initiative providing grants for ultrasound machines and sonography training to pregnancy resource centers across the country. Through their work it's estimated that as many as 63,000 babies have been saved.

By offering ultrasounds, STD screening, and other limited medical services the demand for Birth Choice services has grown from 1,000 visits a year in one clinic, to more than 25,000 a year in three clinics and plans for a fourth clinic are underway. Historically only 30% of Birth Choice’s abortion minded women changed their mind. However, by introducing women to their babies through ultrasound, more than 72% of are choosing life.
